About three years ago I had such a severe attack of rheumatic trouble that I could hardly help myself in any way. I was treated by two good doctors, one for seven months and the other for six months, but at the end of that time I was worse than when I commenced with them, and could hardly hobble across the room with two canes. I then gave up the struggle, feeling that my case was hopeless, as I am seventy-four years old, but I was finally persuaded to try Christian Science. I was benefited from the start, and now I have walked five miles with only one cane and could walk even farther. Other troubles are disappearing; I think now that I shall soon be well of all of them. I also had a small growth on one of my eyes which the doctors had told me was malignant, but it is all gone now. For all of these healings I have to thank Christian Science, and I hope that this will be the means of causing others who need help in any way to try this truth.
