SPIRITUAL ATMOSPHERE

To the ordinary mortal thought certain conditions of temperature are regarded as essential to health. The truth that Life is spiritual is overlooked by these people. Mrs. Eddy has said, "God never ordained a material law to annul the spiritual law" (Science and Health, p. 273). There is a spiritual atmosphere which is always invigorating, to which we may ever have access. This blessing is gained in several ways, one being mutual fellowship. The apostle says, "If we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another." How often have help and strength been gained by the interchange of thought, experience, and testimony in our Wednesday evening meetings, and at other times, by those who have demonstrated God's allness, as revealed through Christian Science. Kindred tastes and pursuits imply fellowship. This helpful influence is beautifully expressed by these lines in one of our Leader's hymns,—

Father, where Thine own children are,
I love to be.
