About two and a half years ago I had a great deal of trouble with my eyes. I could not bear a bright light and could read only a few words at a time. I was very despondent and nervous, and did not dare go out alone. One day a friend took me to see a Christian Science practitioner. The very first treatment helped me, and in a short time I was well again and could see as clearly as I ever did.—conditions which have continued to the present time.

I also would like to tell of how my mother, who is now over eighty-four years of age, was helped last summer in an attack of hay-fever, a disease from which she had suffered regularly every August, for forty odd years. The attacks always commenced on a certain day and lasted for six weeks, and she suffered at times very much indeed. Last year the trouble started in a week later than usual, but it lasted only a day or so. A week later it started in again, but that also was stopped in a day. This was about all of the trouble. She was helped mostly by absent treatment in Christian Science.
