I was taken ill in November, 1907, but as I did not think the attack serious I did not call for any help. I soon felt better, but was again taken sick. I was more or less ill for a month, and finally was unable to continue my work as a watchmaker. I then feared that I had serious lung trouble, and saw it was necessary to get help. I called on a Christian Science practitioner and asked him to treat me. When he came to see me he found me in a very serious condition,—I could not walk across the room alone, was coughing terribly, and had very alarming symptoms. It seemed as if I had only a short time to live, and I fully believe that if it had not been for Christian Science I would have been in the grave ere now. In five weeks I was able to resume my work, and in six weeks after I had asked for treatment I was completely healed and had no more need of help.—Thomas Gulbrandsen, Brooklyn, N. Y.
