It is with deepest thankfulness to God that I attempt to tell a little of what Christian Science has done for me. For years I was under a physician's care more or less of the time. My trouble was diagnosed as a chronic disease of the stomach, which had brought on other troubles, finally ending in a serious illness. During this last experience, I tried many material remedies. Physically. I seemed to gain a little, but the foundation of the trouble remained untouched. One Sunday I attended a Christian Science service, and just before me on the wall was this quotation: "Divine Love always has met and always will meet every human need" (Science and Health, p. 494). I realized that I was in great need, but did not then feel that I was ready to turn to God. When, almost a year afterward, a dear friend persuaded me to come to divine Love for help, my need was met.

Although the physical healing meant much to me, I am still more grateful for the spiritual uplift which has come. The Bible is becoming a new book to me, and I am finding my life as God's own child. It is my earnest desire that I may express my gratitude in each day's living.

Ethel R. Hulett, Minneapolis, Minn.

I give my testimony with a heart filled with love and gratitude to God for all the good I have experienced in Christian Science. About two and a half years ago I was afflicted with an eye trouble. I consulted two local doctors, and both advised me to see a specialist, which I did. He told me that I would lose my eyesight. I then went to Kansas City to consult another oculist, who told me that both eyes were diseased, and he gave me a lotion to use which caused great pain. On my way home I saw a friend who was taking Christian Science treatment, and she asked me to go with her to a practitioner. I knew very little of Christian Science, but while she was taking her treatment the thought came to me, Why should not I be helped? I told the practitioner my troubles, and she said that I did not need to become blind; so I took treatment at once, continuing for one week. I then went home, my eyes being very much improved.

The healing slow, but after five months of absent treatment my eyes were well. I have also been helped in many other ways; for one thing, of constant headache. I cannot in words express my love to God, and my gratitude to our Leader, Mrs. Eddy, for the many blessings I have received through the study of her blessed book, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures."
