LETTERS TO OUR LEADER

Boston, Mass., June 22, 1908. Mrs. Mary Baker G. Eddy, Chestnut Hill, Mass.

Dear Leader: — The notice in the Boston Globe of yesterday and your letter in the issue of to-day, relative to the discontinuing of the Communion seasons in The Mother Church, have been read with interest and gratitude by those at the publishing house, and we wish to thank you for this last of your many reminders to us of the necessity for constant growth away from material dependences and associations and for recalling to us that God is to be worshiped only "in spirit and in truth." By your example you have shown us that every true effort in the name of Christian Science should be accompanied by a conviction that our Father's business is not material but spiritual, and these messages from you serve to make us more watchful in our daily tasks.

The workers of the Publishing Society join me in sending their love and gratitude to you.
