LETTERS TO OUR LEADER

Honolulu, T. H., Oct. 5, 1907. Mrs. Mary Baker G. Eddy,

Pleasant Concord, N. H.

Dear Mrs. Eddy:—The Honolulu Christian Science Society takes this opportunity of giving expression to some of the gratitude and joy which your labor of love has unfolded in our lives and for the example you have given us. Christian Science fully exemplifies the truth of all you have so plainly taught, both by words and works; namely, that good only has power and that "evil would vanish before the reality of good" (Science and Health, p. 480), and we rejoice in the proof thereof. May we all, when tried, rise to our true consciousness as "sons of God and joint heirs with Christ," and transcend all difficulties.
