Not the least of our many blessings in Christian Science...
Not the least of our many blessings in Christian Science is the assurance which we have of divine guidance. I have found that if we commit our way unto God and trust also in Him, He does direct our paths. A position which I had been filling was closed, and I felt the need of other work. One night I fell asleep, realizing that divine Love would show the way, and next morning there was a call for me at the telephone. An acquaintance in an adjoining town wished to offer me a position at very good wages. It was, however, work with which I was not familiar, and long hours; besides this, the town was situated in the mountains at an altitude in which my friends assured me I could never live, even though I had been healed in Christian Science; but I accepted the place, feeling that the way was opened for me by divine Love. In a few days I made the journey, went to work, and remained two months longer than I was at first engaged for. Without my knowledge of Christian Science this would have been impossible for me. I was kept so busy that all my Christian Science study had to be done at night. The winter proved one of growth in grace and understanding, however, and I was able to give some help to others. "Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths."
Miss Frances P. De la Vergne, Osceola, Mo.
