The Harvesting

Last summer was one of great joy and manifold blessings increased by the pleasure derived from the opportunity of visiting a number of Christian Science congregations, outside of the large cities and sometimes in country districts. The membership of individual churches was not large, but the quality of thought was Christly, and this is all that is real in individual or church. Work for the advancement of the Cause goes on in village, town, and hamlet, and seed is everywhere being sown for a coming harvest, the bringing in of golden sheaves to lay at the Master's feet.

At the Sunday and Wednesday evening services one is struck with the heartiness of the singing, especially the hymns of our Leader. How sweetly they sound as love gives coloring to the words which appeal to every heart.
