That which is found in Christian Science and that which...

That which is found in Christian Science and that which seems to be lacking in the other churches is the complete gospel of Christ. When Jesus sent his disciples on their mission, "He sent them to preach the kingdom of God, and to heal the sick. . . . And they departed, and went through the towns, preaching the gospel, and healing everywhere." He did not instruct them in materia medica, nor equip them with a stock of drugs, but said, "Have faith in God," and, "ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free." When Jesus healed one that the disciples failed to heal, and they asked him why they had failed, he replied, "Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed. . . . nothing shall be impossible unto you." Christian Science proves this teaching to be as true and practical to-day as when it was first uttered, and this is why it is being so generally accepted.
