Letters and Telegrams to Our Leader

We are pleased that our Leader has given us permission to publish the following letters and telegrams which are but a few of the many she received upon the occasion of the dedication of the church edifice, her gift to the Church in Concord.

Precious Leader:—I have just read your dedicatory message to the Concord church. The richness of its blessed truth shines like rarest jewels. The inspiration of its burden of tender love stirred my heart to deeper consecration and holier aspiration. It seems to compass the Science and theology of Christianity. My heart thanks you, precious one, and my life must prove the heart's gratitude. Especially do I thank you for your most satisfactory answer to the question on "hell." It brought to my thought a clearer sense of the importance and necessity of obedience to God's commands. May divine Love crown you with the royal diadem of victory, and may the quickening of this word in us to higher, spiritual issues bring to your loving heart the reward of joy and comfort so justly merited.

As ever your loving student,
Laura E. Sargent.
