In the fall of 1900, my need for something more satisfying and effective for health, for the government of my children, and for my own thought, became so great that I decided to try the last resort: namely, Christian Science. This decision reached, the next important step was to secure a copy of the text-book, Science and Health, and also the help of a practitioner. In a very short time a radical change was noticeable. I was born and reared in a very weak and dependent condition, but Truth has given me health and strength. Before coming to Christian Science I had nearly all my work done by some one, now I do my own work, and care for three little ones under six years of age.

I rejoice in the freedom I enjoyed at the birth of my last babe, and also for the good which she reflects. I cannot help giving Christian Science unlimited credit for all this. My attitude of thought toward the Bible is revolutionized, and I want to thank the publication committees for their successful efforts in the Field at large. I am grateful to my teacher, who has shown such love and patience in her efforts for me; and above all to Mrs. Eddy, our Leader, who by her daily walk with God points out each advanced step for the followers of Science.
