In "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker G. Eddy, page 372, we read, "A just acknowledgment of Truth, and what it has done for us, is an effectual help."

Being a business man with an active family of growing children. I have had many opportunities to see what an "effectual help" Christian Science is to one in any situation in life. In my business Christian Science has been a great help because it has enlarged my business capacity, has made me keener and clearer in thought and more ready to see opportunities which were formerly missed. It has shown me that honesty is the only policy in business as in everything else, and that a man's business will prosper in proportion to his reflection of justice, true activity, courage and benevolence, all of which are qualities of the divine Mind. In my home, Christian Science has been an "effectual help" in many ways. It healed a son of severe complications after measles; it healed me of a severe attack of stomach trouble, and ailments of less severity.

The grandest benefits to the family circle, however, are seen in the increased harmony which prevails, and the greater freedom in thought and action. These may not appear at first but "a just acknowledgment of Truth" each day will surely bring them about and prove to any one who will try it what an "effectual help" Christian Science is.
