Springtide at Pleasant View

The following reference, in the Concord Patriot of May 9, to the present beauty of Mrs. Eddy's grounds and flower gardens will bring pleasure to all Christian Scientists, and especially to those who have been privileged to visit this peaceful and inviting home.

Not all the people in Concord know what a paradise Mrs. Eddy has prepared for all lovers of the beautiful in nature in her spacious grounds, which are very beautiful even in their natural state but replete, especially at this time of the year, with flowering beds and budding shrubbery.

All passers-by on the Pleasant Street highway are favored just now with a rich landscape scene as they come within range of Pleasant View, and many pedestrians are seen walking out from the city, just to look at the pretty beds of tulips, which are now in their prime, some of the beds fringed with hyacinths in full bloom, and the summerhouse to the west of the main entrance flanked with a profusion of exquisite pansies.
