To the Editor of the Boston Transcript.

The temperate tone of Dr. Churchman's dissertation on Christian Science which appeared in a recent issue of the Transcript, is indeed commendable. True, he employed such terms as "inaccuracy," "ignorance," "charlatanry" and "theft," but one does not mind epithets when they come from a gentleman and are hurled in a kindly manner.

If Christian Science is "suicidal" and really "amounts to nothing," some learned men are surely making "much ado about nothing."
