About this time last year I was very ill
About this time last year I was very ill. I had been an invalid for about ten years,—a nervous wreck from indigestion and all that goes with it; only those who have it very bad know what it is. For about eight years I could not sleep without medicine; I took a great many kinds of medicine for all the diseases I had. I had catarrh all through my system, and my eyes were very sore at times. I used glasses a long time, and three years ago I got second pair to wear all the time. Oh how my eyes did burn and ache!
As I write this I cannot help saying, Glory be to God and thanks to Mrs. Eddy, I am a new woman. I am sleeping well and eating every kind of food. It is so good to be able to eat of everything and feel well after it. Before I took treatment I couldn't take tea, coffee, or cocoa, only a cup of hot water, and could eat so little of anything I was starving. My heart also gave me a great deal of trouble, and to be free from all this is wonderful to me, and best of all is to that I am at-one with God.
I asked for treatment the 9th of September, 1903 (I was then in Ireland), and since that I have not taken any medicine. I had a good deal o medicine with me, but I threw it all away. I had medicine for sea-sickness,—I would not go to sea without it,—and had some to take coming home, but it went with the rest. I came back with a healing knowledge of God, acquired through Christian Science. I am so thankful I wish I could tell it so all who may read this would be healed.—MRS. S. A. CATERSON, New York, N. Y.
