Words are too weak to express the comfort, joy, and hope that Christian Science has brought into my life. When I first heard the sweet strains of truth I was in a black night of fear, and my heart was filled with malice and revenge, not to mention a mountain of self-love and pride. I accepted at once every word the dear Scientist spoke for I felt instinctively that I had found that for which my heart had longed since childhood.

Aside from the physical healing, I am learning to love those whom I once hated, and have lost an awful fear of the future that seemed to be engulfing me. I never take up a sentinel or Journal that I do not find rich food for my peculiar need.

God grant that I may one day be as selfless and pure as our beloved Leader, who is so far ahead on the journey.
