"Thou Shalt be as my Mouth"
A Statement that has been made over and over again by my teacher in Christian Science, and which gives much food for thought and expansion, is this: "We are God's mouthpieces.
One day in reading the Bible I came across this passage, "If thou take forth the precious from the vile, thou shalt be as my mouth," and there are other passages of Scripture which assure us that every word that goeth out of the mouth of the Lord is established. These show how the healing is done in Christian Science. The healer must first separate the vile from the good in his own consciousness, so far as he is able, and when he speaks from the standpoint of spiritual consciousness he is God's mouthpiece, and the word that goeth out of that consciousness establishes health and holiness.
