Mr. Editor.
Since the writer of 'he paragraph on your editorial page for January 22, referring to Mrs. Eddy, asks for "proof" of the good she does, let me call his attention to the mass of evidence which may be consulted by any sincere person. There is hardly any one in these days who does not know of some case of reforming or healing by Christian Science. Every Christian Scientist can tell of some such cases, and there are many Christian Scientists. The sincere investigator need only attend the Wednesday evening meeting of any one of the seven hundred Christian Science churches or societies to hear testimonies of the blessed results of Christian Science. Every issue of the Christian Science Sentinel and The Christian Science Journal contains many signed statements. The Christian Science text-book, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker G. Eddy, contains a chapter devoted to letters from those who have been reformed and healed, many of them through the perusal and study of this text-book.
When we consider that Mrs. Eddy is the author of this text-book, as well as the Discoverer and Founder of Christian Science, we can realize in a measure the extraordinary amount of good which she does. Mrs. Eddy has stated:—
