I have known something of Christian Science for about...
I have known something of Christian Science for about nine years and have received benefit from its teaching, but it was only four years ago that I accepted its teaching without reserve. At that time I was a hopeless sufferer from what all believed to be consumption, and also neuralgia in its worst form. The trouble was pronounced by the doctors to be incurable. For many years I could not talk or eat without severe pain.
I believe my lungs are perfectly ound now, and my neuralgia is almost a thing of the past. My eyesight is also much improved. Though I am nearly sixty-four years old and had worn glasses for more than twelve years, being unable to read even the dates on the first page of the Sentinel without them, I can now read all the Christian Science literature with ease without the aid of glasses.
Though I am very thankful for the physical relief, I am yet more grateful for the spiritual uplifting and the knowledge that we have an ever-present help in every time of need.
