The Efficacy of Christian Science
Creston (Ia.) American
Mr. Editor.
I again ask of you space in which briefly to comment upon your rejoinder to my article of December 5, in which you state your ideas with reference to the efficacy of Christian Science treatment.
In my former article, I endeavored to set forth the fact that Christian Scientists recognize that to the human mind or mortal mind, disease is very much of a reality, and Science and Health, the text-book of Christian Science by Mary Baker G. Eddy, distinctly teaches this fact. This text-book, however, indicates a clearly demonstrable method of overcoming sickness and sin—a method which is in accord with the teachings of Jesus Christ and the Bible in its entirety.
