The day before Thanksgiving, a little child, six years of age, who was in our town with a theatrical company, had been suffering from fever for about three days. She would not have a doctor or take any medicine, but said, "If you could only find a Christian Scientist I should be well." Her mother made inquiries and called for me. I went to see the child, who was in bed with a high fever. In an hour after treatment she came bounding into my office and said "I am all right now." There was not a sign of fever and perfect action of the system has been made manifest. This resulted in bringing the leading lady in the troupe to ask for treatment. She resolved, also, to devote the next summer to studying Christian Science. The child's faith made her whole. Surely I am most thankful for Christian Science and to Mrs. Eddy for giving us so rich a treasure.
