In love and thankfulness I would like to express my gratitude for our periodicals, the Journal and Sentinel, and to all who have, through them or otherwise, helped me in any way to understand and demonstrate Christian Science. All that I have and all that I am, I own to it. Not only has it given me perfect health, but it has enabled me to overcome many discordant conditions in myself and others.

One morning I was called in haste and asked to stay with a neighbor while her daughter went for a doctor. I was also asked to suggest some material remedy that might relieve the pain pending the arrival of the physician. The trouble was eczema, the whole throat being very red, with large yellow blisters from which yellow matter was flowing. Instead of the desired material remedy I offered Science treatment, of which the family knew nothing up to that time, and it was gratefully accepted. There was, at the time the treatment was commenced, every manifestation of intense suffering, but the relief was so pronounced and immediate that a continuance of Christian Science treatment was preferred to medicine, asked for, and, of course, given, and the doctor was not sent for. In one week the throat was perfectly white, showing no trace of eczema whatever.

A pronounced case of train sickness, which asserted itself even when the victim, a child, rode in a street car or carriage, was overcome in one treatment and has not reappeared in the six years since, although much traveling has been done. For all the victories over error and all the blessings of Truth I am more than grateful.
