In loving gratitude to God for Christian Science I send my Thanksgiving offering to the dear Sentinel.

When I began to read Scientist and Health four years ago I was told by a dear Scientist that I would find in it "nuggets of gold." This I have proved true. Soon after reading it, great spiritual joy and peace dawned upon my consciousness and thereby I was awakened to the fact that God is not the author of discord, sin, suffering, and death. I soon found endless opportunities to apply the truth I was striving to understand, and many times its healing efficacy was proved.

The Bible is more precious to me and the words of Jesus are studied as never before. Each day I realize more clearly that the acceptance of the teachings of Christian Science means a great warfare with self, and truly do I rejoice to see the errors of sense, which only tend to darken one's spiritual perception, uncovered and destroyed, and each time a higher sense of Truth is gained.
