The Lectures
An audience of between seven and eight hundred persons was addressed at City Hall last evening [June 9] by Carol Norton, C.S.D., of New York City, a member of the Board of Lectureship of The First Church of Christ, Scientist, of Boston. The meeting was held under the auspices of First Church of Christ, Scientist, of this city.
The subject of the evening was "The Teaching and Growth of Christian Science." It was treated in a very scholarly, interesting, and exhaustive manner.
In the audience were a number of out of town persons, many coming from Boston; Haverhill; Manchester, N. H.; Nashua, N. H.; Reading; Lowell; Malden, and other places in this vicinity.
