Our Sunday School Work
What is its purpose?
To teach our children clearly the Principle of Christian Science, our Leader has designated certain portions of the Scriptures to be taught to the children, wherein can be seen the rule for all civil, moral, and religious action. The remainder of the Bible is illustrative of how this Principle has been applied to all conditions of men. Each child is to be taught to go to this Principle and ask for help at play, at home, at school. "What does Principle say?" is to be the rule and plummet for thought and action.
Anecdotes from the Bible strengthen the child's faith, as he learns how others have been rewarded by God,—how they have been led by Principle. The children who come to our classes are very much like other children.
