In the fall of 1896 my husband accidentally struck his hand on an emery wheel, severing the cords and making a hole large enough to contain a large marble. He went to a physician and had it dressed. When he came home and told me I immediately wrote to a Christian Science healer, and the next day received word from him that he would do all he could. The doctor told him not to use his hand, and to keep it in a sling. It was the left hand, and instead of keeping it in a sling he used it all he wanted to. The doctor did not dress it again. In three weeks the hand was well and he was at work in the shop. What has always surprised me was the fact that three days before it healed up we could have laid a small marble in the hole. All who spoke to me at the time said that his hand would never be straight, but it is, and he has never had the slightest trouble from it. That is only one of many cures that we have had in our family.—Mrs. L. J. B., Marlboro, Mass.
