Among the Churches

The annual meeting of First Church of Christ, Scientist, Montreal, Can., was held Monday evening, March 31. Reports were read by the Clerk and Treasurer, showing the progress of this church during the past year. These reports show that there has been a steady gain in the attendance, and that the roll of membership has increased. The Treasurer's report was very encouraging. All current expenses had been met, and there was a balance on the right side.

The Sunday School report shows that the children take a deep interest in this church and the cause of Christian Science, and are proving their understanding by demonstration,—turning to God for help to overcome their physical and other troubles. The children's choir, organized two years ago, has been a great help in the musical portion of the services.

The Sunday and Wednesday evening meetings have been continued throughout the entire year, and the attendance has steadily increased. There have been evidences of great spiritual blessings received from these services. Many testimonies of physical healing at the Wednesday evening meetings have been given, and also of people being healed at the Sunday services through the powerful and spiritual Lesson-Sermons.
