Tributes to the New Edition of Science and Health
A few weeks ago, it would not have seemed credible that the Science and Health, so dear to me, could possibly attain higher perfection; but now, upon taking my revised edition daily and putting it side by side with one of the older books, comparing each sentence with the corresponding one, a sense of the wisdom that our Leader has displayed in making the changes, is overwhelming.
Then comes the inclination to reflect upon all the time, thought, and prayerful study that has been required to make the alterations, which will enable us, as students, to grasp more readily that spiritual understanding which we are trying to obtain.
It seems beyond my range of expression to tell of my gratitude to Mrs. Eddy, not only for the old and the new Science and Health, but for my share of the general blessings which she has presented to the world.
