For a long time I have felt it my duty to speak a few words for Christian Science through the Sentinel. It has done so much for me I hardly know how to express it. I was a great sufferer from an abscess in my hip caused by a fall. After about six months it began to discharge and continued to do so for twenty-three years in seven different places. I have pieces of bone in my house that came from it. I employed fourteen different doctors during that time, but all failed to cure me. I went to the hospital to have my hip cut open and the bone scraped, but the doctors said my time was too short and refused to do it. I returned home with death staring me in the face; but, thanks to Christian Science, I am now a well man.

I was healed in about thirty days, and have remained so ever since. That was seven years ago. I have also been healed of stomach and heart trouble and liver complaint. I am very thankful for my physical healing, but I am much more thankful for the spiritual understanding of the Bible that has come to me through Science and Health. My wife and I have both had the pleasure of class instruction from one of Mrs. Eddy's loyal students.

I wish to speak a word of thanks for the benefits we have received through the publications of our Mother.
