Having always greatly enjoyed the reports of progress in different localities sent in by the churches, we have long felt that this church should contribute its share in return, realizing that with giving goes a double blessing, blessing both those who give and those who receive, and that our own measure of good is doubled thereby.

have received requests for the republication of the editorial contained in The Christian Science Journal for May, 1899, explaining the scope and construction of the Lesson-Sermons as they are prepared by the Lesson Committee and published in the Christian Science Quarterly.

A few weeks ago, it would not have seemed credible that the Science and Health, so dear to me, could possibly attain higher perfection; but now, upon taking my revised edition daily and putting it side by side with one of the older books, comparing each sentence with the corresponding one, a sense of the wisdom that our Leader has displayed in making the changes, is overwhelming.
The unique feature of our periodicals,—one which distinguishes them from all other literature, and essentially contributes to the spread of Christian Science,—is the "Testimonies.
