The Testimonies

The unique feature of our periodicals,—one which distinguishes them from all other literature, and essentially contributes to the spread of Christian Science,—is the "Testimonies."

Although thousands have already borne witness to the healing work through Science, yet the half has not been told, and it might be said of this as of Jesus' work that the world itself could not contain all that might be written. To "gather up the fragments that remain, that nothing be lost," is wise economy. By this means alone, a vast amount of spiritual power is conserved and utilized in gaining attention for Truth. And here all may recognize an opportunity of God's appointing. The woman who touched the hem of Christ's garment, and was made whole, was called by the Master to confess publicly what Truth had done. The same Christ to-day demands open acknowledgment of those who receive benefits.

Because I am grateful to God every day for a sense of health and strength, and of His guidance, which were never mine while ignorant of Christian Science, I gladly add my mite.
