For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.—Romans, 8:2.

Freed from the bondage of sin, led by the Master's hand
Out of "The mind of the flesh," into the promised land.
Led by the spirit of God, out of death, into life and peace,
Where harmony reigns forevermore and discords cease.
Oh, it is most wonderful a child of God to be,
And beautiful the message—the spirit doth make free.
"Joint-heir with Christ!" to what a lofty height
Rises our thought made clear by heavenly light.
But this promised glory is not won with ease,
A mighty overcoming, known to Him who sees
Our every upward striving, will only win the crown
When every evil thing and lie has been cast down.
