I was healed four years ago, after being sick three years. At that time I had lost all hope of ever being well. I was under the influence of opiates constantly. I could not lie down at night without choking and my eyes were too weak to read.

When my healer came to see me I did not have any faith in her at first; but I soon found I was being led out of darkness into light. After a few treatments I gave up my medicine and have not taken any since. I could soon lie down without choking, and rested well. It brought peace and comfort. It seemed like heaven on earth. I felt as though I were leaning on the everlasting arms. I am the only believer in Christian Science in our location. I have to work alone, yet I know I am not alone for God is my ever-present help. I have the Bible, Science and Health, and the Sentinel. My healing was slow, but my kind teacher was very patient with me. The physical healing is nothing compared to the holy uplifting, the spiritual help, it has been to me. I could never tell the blessings I have received.
