I am a little girl and have often felt I should add my testimony to those of other children which we sometimes read in the Journal and Sentinel.

When I was four years old, while playing with some children, I fell and injured my spine. I was taken to all the best doctors at home, but none did me any good. I was then taken to New York to specialists there, and was in several hospitals. I was kept in plaster casts and steel braces, and was not allowed to move my head without support, and never knew what it was to play as other little children did.

The doctors had said they could do nothing more for me, and when I was about to pass away, my mother, as a last hope, consented to my being treated in Christian Science by my aunt, who had written begging her to try it. She telegraphed her to come on at once, as I seemed to be going very fast, and in three days after she got there I was healed. When I woke up the third morning, to my great joy I found I could raise my head, then sit up, and I felt so strong I got right out of bed and ran all around the house as fast as I could without my brace. It was a very joyful time for me, and I have not worn my brace or any support since.
