Received the Blessing
It was not my privilege to attend the annual communion service, but the thought came to me as given in "Miscellaneous Writings" by Mary Baker G. Eddy, page 150, "Space is no separator of hearts. Spiritually, I am with all who are with Truth, and whose hearts to-day are repeating their joy that God dwelleth in the congregation of the faithful, and loveth the gates of Zion."
So I listened, heard the voice of Love, received the message, and was blessed in the consciousness of His abiding presence, which filleth all space.
The following Sunday, in our own dear church (Fourth Church of Christ, Scientist, of Chicago) we had our first communion service. I thought of words recently spoken. "The communion service is on and will last forever." I said, Surely this is a foretaste of heaven, for Love reigned supreme, and I knew all had shared the blessing, for only Love was expressed.
