Truth an Ever-present Help

I was taught by the Universalist doctrine that God is Love; but how little did I understand the meaning of that word Love! Now, through the light thrown upon it by Christian Science as taught by our beloved Leader, Mrs. Eddy, that word of Love has proved mighty to the pulling down of many of the seeming strongholds of error.

My mother suffered for twenty-four years with stomach trouble, and for eighteen years she was unable to take any solid food. The doctors told her she was liable to die at any time but Truth has healed her.

Truth has been my only help in time of need. It has enabled me to overcome the croup, sore throat, grip, headaches, accidents, hatefulness, and many other errors of mortal mind. My greatest battle at this time is to overcome self. My one prayer is that I may be able to practise the Golden Rule given by our great Teacher.
