Among the Churches

The Church of Christ, Scientist, in Cincinnati, O., held Sunday morning services in their new quarters, for the first time, Sunday morning, April 1, the occasion being marked by a good attendance, sweet music, cordial greetings, and happy faces.

For nearly seven years this church had occupied Hall D in the Odd Fellows Temple, but had felt for some time that their earnestness, growth, and success merited something larger and better; and in the mean time were in search of a building suitable for making such change, until they build a church of their own.

The recently secured the Lyceum in Music Hall Building on Elm Street, convenient to seven lines of street cars. This hall is well adapted for church purposes, being artistic, light, and roomy. It has a seating capacity four times larger than the one vacated, and is equipped with an excellent pipe organ, together with the convenience of two adjoining rooms suitable for holding children's Sabbath School. Again is God's protecting care verified.—R.
