For two years and a half I could not do anything and the latter part of that time I could scarcely feed myself. I was paralyzed on both sides, the lower limb of the left, and the upper limb of the right. I lost my speech January 6, 1899. I grew worse all the time, and the doctors told me they had done all they could for me.

I was asked to try Christian Science, which I did, and I cannot say enough for it. On the second day of April, 1899, I went to a healer. The next morning I felt a change and was surprised to find I had some use of my hand. On the fourth I walked with my cane, and on the fifth I walked alone without help. The 7th of April I was healed. On the tenth I went to work, something I had not done in two years and a half. I had run down in weight from one hundred and sixty-five pounds to one hundred pounds when I was healed. I have not lost a day since. I now weigh one hundred and forty-eight pounds and am gaining all the time. I read "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" and find it a great help.
