The assertion of Francis Truth, that the business he has been carrying on in Boston is substantially the same as the work in which Christian Scientists are engaged, was brought to the attention of Mr. Alfred Farlow, a recognized authority on matters pertaining to Christian Science, last evening, and he made the following statement:—
"The practice of magnetism must of necessity be further removed from Christian Science than it is from any other system of curing the ills of the flesh.
"The method of the magnetizer operates either through personal contact or the action of human will, commonly called hypnotism.
