A Child's Testimony

I would like to relate a demonstration in school work, because it may help some other little child.

It was a demonstration over my drawing at school. In drawing my per cent was not very high, it was about fifty or sixty. Every day I had to stay after school for drawing.

After a while I began to work it out in Truth. I said over and over again, "The beautiful, good, and pure constitute his ancestry" (Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker G. Eddy, p. 273), and that I reflected the perfect Mind. My drawing was changed from being the poorest to some of the best in the room. The teacher took my drawing book for a model for the rest of the school.

Christian Science has kept my little brother, sister, and myself well all winter, while so many of my playmates have been sick.

I do love our dear Leader and Mother, who has shown us how to overcome all error.

I am always glad when the Sentinel and Journal come, so I can learn how other children demonstrate. I am eleven years old.—Richard N. Adams, Reading, Mass.
