Healed after Material Remedies Failed
Several years since, the writer was assailed by a very severe disorder, which material remedies had failed in overcoming, after quite a persistent trial. Resorting to Christian Science treatment, I was restored, and upon further investigation became an adherent to its teachings. I feel very grateful for this manifestation of divine Love and I would like to acknowledge the Master in this, and his many wonderful works. His message of Truth "with healing in its wings," spoken by him nearly nineteen centuries ago, has brought peace and harmony into the lives of a mighty host in the present age. Indeed, an army has gathered under Truth's banner, beautiful in its praises "to God in the highest," for to almost every land and clime hath the glad tidings gone, of the Father's loving care for His children—"healing the sick and sin-laden, binding up the broken hearts." Those crosses which are strewn all along material paths speak to us now more of a living and triumphant Saviour, and in striving for the Christly mind, the watch is toward this radiant light which portends the full tide of his coming. My invocation is for more realization of the Father's allness, to assimilate more and more of Truth, which giveth perfect peace; and for the hastened day when life shall no longer be denominated anywhere. The crown of life is Love, for God is Life—God is Love. In illumining this way which leadeth to eternal life, and whereby cometh a panacea for every ill and woe, Mrs. Eddy has wrought that for which humanity stands under lasting obligations. I am the recipient of much for which to be thankful in health and happiness, also in a business way, through a study of this divine Science.—R. H. Gresham, near Guavalujara, Mexico.
