Await God's Giving!

Storm not the door of heaven with thy cry;Strive not, in stress, to make Love's peace draw nigh;Seek not to force the Giver of all goodTo meet thy need, as thou believ'st He should.

The Mother Church

O Church of Christ, divine!Thou art a structure strong of Truth and Love,Whose firm foundation finds its sacred restEmbedded deep in Principle—I am.

Atonement

When morning light breaks o'er my bedAnd eyelids open,—the darkness fled,—A clear, sweet message comes to me:Lift thou thy thought, think thou on Me.

Desire Is Prayer

Give me an understanding heart,Dear Love divine, Thy way to see,That I may know no life apartFrom consciousness at-one with Thee!

Emerging

If I could think divinely,I'd lift my thoughts aboveThe clutch of clay, the thrust of hate,

Out of the Mist

Out of the mist in the day's early dawning,Spread like a garment o'er hillside and glen,Sparkling and fresh with the dews of the morning,Comes the green earth in its beauty again;Where the bright sun casts its rays, warm and tender,Melt like a shadow the vapors away,From snowy peaks where, in radiant splendor,Shines the fair promise of blessings to-day.
