Emerging

If I could think divinely,I'd lift my thoughts aboveThe clutch of clay, the thrust of hate,

Out of the Mist

Out of the mist in the day's early dawning,Spread like a garment o'er hillside and glen,Sparkling and fresh with the dews of the morning,Comes the green earth in its beauty again;Where the bright sun casts its rays, warm and tender,Melt like a shadow the vapors away,From snowy peaks where, in radiant splendor,Shines the fair promise of blessings to-day.

A Prayer

Teach me obedience, O Father-Mother God,That I may humbly pass 'neath Thy correcting rod.

The Christ-awakening

How sweet the story of that long ago, When the disciples sailed at close of day, And as the ship launched forth, the Master lay Asleep upon a pillow, resting so.

The Crowds

"For the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the Lord, as the waters cover the sea.

Love

Our Father-Mother God is Love,Truth infinite, divine,Supplying every perfect gift; And all these gifts are mine,To give my brother, who reflectsThe truth he loves in me:And conscious only of all good,We dwell in unity.

Forgetting Self

Forgetting self, I learn to know my Father's love;Forgetting self, the guiding light shines from above,And, unobscured, makes every moment brightWith understanding of the way that's right.

Remember the Good

Remember the good of yester-years;Whatever your life has been,Forget the fears and forget the tears,The pains and the sense of sin;For only the good to-day is true,And only the good was then;To-morrow, too, has but good for you,For good is Love's gift to men.
