Again the blessed Christmastide has passed;The world has looked in wonder toward the star,And visioned those blest shepherds from afar:The gold, the frankincense, and myrrh, amassedAnd brought by threeWho journeyed long and metTo kneel before the little feet,Of infant sweet,Destined to wend their way to Olivet,And then—to Calvary.
