Gladness fills the air,Scent of autumn rare;Russet leaves and goldFall in forests old.

Desire

To see Thy path, constant in praiseTo walk with Thee in unsought ways;To have my thought held fast in Thine,My every wish a prayer divine,My every word the truth sublime,My every deed Thy love expressed,Humble, O Lord, and truly blessedWith Love's eternal fire—This, only this, is my desire.

Our Hand in His

The breath of hope envelops us,When we have done our bestTo right a wrong,To love a friend—Sweet hope within the breast!

Where thou goest, Love will lead thee,Where thou walkest, Love will guide;If thou hunger, Love will feed thee;Love is ever at thy side.
