With grateful hearts we gather, Lord,On these thanksgiving days,And for the blessings of the yearOur praise to Thee we raise.

Christians, Arise!

Dear Father-Mother God, we know that Thou art Love,That Thou art here and everywhere—around, beneath, above.

Love's Message

Heed thou the message which Love doth impart—Freedom from bondage for each earnest heart.

Thanksgiving

Gladness fills the air,Scent of autumn rare;Russet leaves and goldFall in forests old.

Desire

To see Thy path, constant in praiseTo walk with Thee in unsought ways;To have my thought held fast in Thine,My every wish a prayer divine,My every word the truth sublime,My every deed Thy love expressed,Humble, O Lord, and truly blessedWith Love's eternal fire—This, only this, is my desire.

God's Light

Dear Father-Mother God, to Thee I prayFor light—and lo, Love shineth o'er my way,Thy truth my guide and stay;So may I learn in grateful joy to yieldEach thought to Thee, and labor in Thy field,Nor cease till close of day.

Consecration

Live the Christ-life, and ease thy troubled heart;Think the Christ-thoughts, and rest thy wearied mind.

Joseph

I owe thee debt, brother of bygone age,For brave example, shining yet to speedMe on.
