In the Christian Science Bible Lesson

Riding with Love

Love fills all space, because God is everywhere. So there isn’t even a tiny place for fear.
I am discovering more and more how God-inspired listening, or prayer, opens thought—and experience—to ineffable good.

Not a pendulum

Feeling pushed and pulled back and forth is temptation—the temptation to believe that there is more than one God, more than one Mind guiding, influencing, or controlling me and others.
We don’t get what we need from anywhere but divine Love, God. The law of Love allows us to be grateful and generous, without losing anything.
This teen author discovered more about the true source of strength and stamina when he looked for help in the book Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures.
This author was loving CIT summer, but she wasn’t loving all the late night chatting going on in her cabin. Her impatience continued to grow until a hymn from the Christian Science Hymnal gave her a new perspective.
The determining factor in whether to trust the veracity of the show and tell of the moment can be found in its source. If God isn’t behind the showing and telling, we should never accept it as true.
Instantly, I awoke and got out of bed; all symptoms of illness had vanished. To me, this was more than a dream; it was a realization that I had just what I needed for healing in Christian Science.

Love’s second mile

It is natural for love to be at the core of every interaction with our fellow man, and expressing it should be our only motive and expectation.

Letting go of selfishness

We never lose anything by releasing a focus on self for a greater interest in the qualities that God has given to each of us to fearlessly express.
Working as a wrangler in the corral at camp should have been the perfect way to spend the summer … until this author didn’t feel well. But instead of getting discouraged, she took it as an opportunity to learn more about healing.
I go to Christian Science Sunday School, and I am learning to pray when I’m not feeling well.
