Thank you for the excellent editorial, “Refuse to hate—yield to Love” (Kim Crooks Korinek), in the September 4, 2017, Sentinel. What an excellent reminder to “listen for that still, small voice of God” in these turbulent times. I will read this over and over again.

Answer to prayer

[“Pray as if you mean it,” Ginger Emden, September 4, 2017, Sentinel]

Thank you for this very helpful article. It was an answer to prayer for me. In studying this morning, the thought came, “What does it mean to pray with all your heart?” I sincerely yearned to understand that. And listening to Ginger’s article online this afternoon, I found it was helpful in addressing that question—both in challenging an incorrect ritual approach, as well as the sincerity needed to grasp that. Thank you to Ginger for taking the time to write and share her article.
