During a recent Christian Science church service, someone in the congregation must have forgotten to silence their cellphone. It rang for a few moments while the Second Reader was reading from the Bible. Just as the ringing ended, the very next thing the Reader read was, “Jesus answered . . .” (Matthew 15:28).
