Jacuzzi church
As I sat in the jacuzzi in the apartment complex, I was bubbling over with gratitude for the expressions of peace and purity I’d seen. I had a grand appreciation for the dedication of thought and labor required to build the businesses. I loved seeing the parks filled with families and children. And I adored the local Christian Science church, a beautiful Spanish-style building on a row with four other places of worship. I was now seeing the whole city as an answered prayer.
As I sat there, I heard the pool gate slam and eight young men came piling into the jacuzzi with me. Pretty soon we struck up a conversation. I’d spent part of the day praying about receptivity to the Truth, so I shared that I was a Christian Scientist, and they told me they had just finished a Bible study. Bingo!
